Important information about upcoming industrial action

You may be aware that there is industrial action by Junior Doctors scheduled for 15-17 January.

Here at Velindre Cancer Centre, our priority remains delivering the safest patient care and ensuring our services run smoothly and safely. We have planned ahead and are working with our staff and healthcare partners to manage our services in the best way to keep any disruption to a minimum whilst the industrial action takes place.

Patients who have appointments during this period should still attend as planned unless they have been contacted directly because their appointment is affected. We are also asking people not to put off seeking urgent care in an emergency.
