Public engagement | Formal consultation

A group of people are high fiving.

Have your say

Welcome to the consultation and engagement portal for Velindre University NHS Trust (Velindre Cancer Centre and the Welsh Blood Service).

Here you can have your say on the various services we deliver across the areas we serve.

With an exciting change agenda ahead, we will have many opportunities for our communities and stakeholders to be involved with service redesign and development.

All opportunities for formal engagement and consultation will be managed in line with NHS service change guidance in partnership with Llais (the Citizen’s Voice for Wales).

People are taking part in conversations at our engagement opportunities.

Who are Llais?

Llais are a statutory body that report into Welsh Government and have a role in ensuring the views and experiences of the people of Wales are used by decision-makers to plan and deliver better health and social care services.

To support people at a local level, Llais have structured themselves on a regional basis. So there are local teams in the following areas:

  • Cardiff and Vale
  • Cwm Taf Morganwwg
  • Gwent
  • Neath Port Talbot and Swansea
  • North Wales
  • Powys
  • West Wales

Your local Llais team gather people’s experiences – good and bad – of health and social care services and provide support to make complaints.

Then they work with local NHS and social care services providers to respond to the things that matter most to people in the communities they serve.

You can find out more by visiting the Llais website: www.llaiswales.org
