City Hospice: Bereavement services are available for families. These include face to face counselling with qualified counsellors. Bereavement groups are also held at the hospice where families can share their experiences and support one another. Coffee mornings are also held on the second Wednesday of each month.

Marie Curie Hospice:

Bereavement services are available for family and friends of people who have received

Unicorn Project:

Bereavement support to children and young people who have an important adult in their
lives who is a patient of St David’s Hospice Care. The Unicorn Project offers support to young people who are struggling to cope with their grief.

The Family Support Team offer Support for adults and for children and young people within the family

Covid Resources

National Covid NHS Bereavement helpline: 8am -8pm tel: 0800 2600 400 A new Bereavement Helpline has been introduced by the NHS to support bereaved families during the Coronavirus outbreak. The new helpline is not a counselling service but will be available to offer support, guidance and advice on dealing with grief  and loss.The helpline will be staffed by NHS Blood and Transplant registered nurses who are highly skilled and experienced in working with bereaved people.During the Coronavirus outbreak there has been an increase in bereaved families, as well as significant changes to palliative care and end of life services, which will affect all deaths, both Covid-19 and non Covid-19 related.This is a bereavement helpline to offer guidance, support and advice to those dealing with loss at this difficult time. https://www.thegoodgrieftrust.org/need-knowinfo/coronavirus-bereavement-advice/
