At Velindre we care about our patients/donors’ experiences. We want to be the very best at what we do and provide the best possible care and treatment for our patients. There are a number of ways we can measure this, but the thoughts and opinions of our patients and their families, as the main users of our service, really do count most of all.
Feedback offers a means for patients to express their thoughts, wishes, ideas & personal experiences. It reinforces the patient-centred approach to our work and empowers patients to make their voice heard.
We carry out patient experience surveys on a regular basis here at Velindre and the results of these are reported each month, together with additional feedback we receive via other channels (social media, letters, emails etc)
