Chemotherapy outreach

Velindre Cancer Centre has an 'outreach' chemotherapy service. This service provides treatments for patients in their local hospital.
Clinics are currently held in:

• Nevill Hall
• Princess of Wales
• Royal Gwent
• Royal Glamorgan
• Prince Charles
• Ystrad Mynach
• Ystrad Aneruin Bevan

We also have two mobile units:

• Chemo bus at Nantgarw
• Chemo bus at Cwmbran

The outreach team visit these clinics each week on a set day to treat common cancers such as breast, lung and bowel. Patients are closely monitored.
