This summer several members of our staff are escaping the office to represent the TCS programme at various events taking place around Wales. We are using these events to engage with the public through conversations and surveys to find out what you think our priorities for the new cancer service should be.
If you’d like the chance to have your say, take our survey here.
Most recently, several members of the team joined our Communications and Engagement Manager Gail Foley at the Royal Welsh Show. Despite the heat, we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was a great opportunity to talk to a number of people about our services and plans for the future. We were happy to welcome some famous faces to the stand too when the boys from the WRU came to say hello!
We are excited to be representing TCS at the Eisteddfod next week, alongside representatives from Welsh Blood. We will have exciting and interactive games available for all the family, and we’re looking forward to meeting plenty of you there. We’ll be tweeting and posting during the event so make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with what we’re doing. If you want to find out more about the 2016 Eisteddfod in Abergavenny, visit the Eisteddfod website here.
We’re also excited to be joining the Pride Cymru celebrations in Cardiff. It will be held at Coopers Field in Cardiff on Saturday the 13th of August from midday to 21.30pm, and will be preceded by the parade in the City Centre which will start at 11am. For more information visit the Pride Cymru website here.
If you’re going to be at any of these events come and say hello! Otherwise, if you want to keep up with what we’re doing, sign up to our newsletter, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
