The Velindre Welfare Advice service offers a free, confidential welfare benefits service to people living with cancer and their carers.
Appointments can be arranged with the team by contacting us on 02920 316 277 or VCC.supportivecare@wales.nhs.uk.

We can assist you with:

• Applying for health related benefits (eg. Employment and Support Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance, Personal Independence Payment)

• Applying for means tested benefits (eg. Income Support, Pension Credit, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefits, Tax Credits)

• Health costs, such as trips to hospital and specialist equipment

• Applying for a disabled parking badge

• Appealing against benefits decisions
