A new way to get involved with the nVCC project

Our contractor to build the new Velindre Cancer Centre has launched an exciting scheme for residents to get more involved with supporting and advising on the project.

The Acorn Ambassador Alliance will involve several different aspects including helping contribute advice on the project's prospective and upcoming community benefit schemes, sharing news with local residents and attending community events to help raise awareness of our project's social values.

This is a separate initiative from Velindre Voices, a well-established forum led by Velindre as a way for patients, carers and the community to keep in touch with the Trust and influence its work. Acorn's scheme is specifically to advise on the new Velindre Cancer Centre project during the build and beyond.
