Mark delivered a keynote presentation at the Sapporo Conference for Palliative and Supportive Care (SCPSC), held in Sapporo in July. The invitation followed a request from conference organisers to present the innovative Future Care Planning work being developed and implemented in Wales.

Velindre Chair joins supporters on inspiring Sierra Nevada Challenge

58 Velindre fundraisers embarked on a three-day trek through the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain in June, united by a shared goal: raising vital funds for Velindre Cancer Charity. Among those taking part was Sara Moseley, Chair of Velindre University NHS Trust.

Velindre Cancer Service marks one year of delivering specialist PRRT treatment

Since treating its first patient in July 2025, the service has started treatment for 13 patients, with two patients already completing their full course of therapy.
