nVCC academy helps cancer survivor become entrepreneur

We wanted to highlight an inspirational piece of coverage that’s aired on ITV Wales.

The report features Mia, who received treatment at Velindre for leukaemia and is now in remission. Through Sacyr’s Enterprise Academy, Mia is pursuing an inspiring business idea to create fashionable clothing designed for people with treatment ports.

Our new Velindre Cancer Centre is scheduled to open in spring 2027 and will help us to continue to deliver the care Velindre is known for in a state-of-the-art home fit for generations to come.
