Extension of working hours for specific activities on the new Velindre Cancer Centre

We wanted to let you know that there will be an extension of working hours for specific activities on the new Velindre Cancer Centre construction.

Approval has been granted under Section 61 to allow an extension to working hours for specific tasks only.

The extended hours will apply for the following.

Mechanical and electrical service fit-out works:

• Monday to Friday from 6pm-8pm
• Saturday from 1pm-4pm

External wall lifting works:

• Monday to Friday only from 6pm-7pm

These extended working hours are strictly limited to the activities and times listed above. No other works will take place outside of the agreed hours.

The current approval is in place until Monday 13 July 2026.

We appreciate the continued patience and understanding while these essential works are completed.
