Velindre Keep Me Safe
Welcome to the Velindre ‘Keep Me Safe’ resource page!
Velindre ‘Keep Me Safe’ is a new mobile app, currently being piloted, that offers a more convenient and alternative way to connect you with the VAP Team.
You can access this resource page:
- As a patient of Velindre Cancer Centre
- Currently undergoing SACT/ Chemotherapy treatment
- Under the care of the VAP Telephone Assessment Clinic
And because:
- You have opted-in to complete a digital clinical assessment as part of the Velindre Keep Me Safe pilot
How it works:
- Complete your clinical assessment in the comfort of your own home
- At a time convenient to you, within a specific 48-hour period
- Without having to wait for the VAP Team to contact you
- The VAP Team will then use your answers to prescribe the next cycle of treatment
Your well-being is our priority, and we want you to feel confident and informed whilst using the app throughout the pilot.

Please note: The Velindre Keep Me Safe app is administered by Velindre University NHS Trust and will be used for a 'closed' 6-month pilot. It will only be available for invited Velindre Cancer Centre Virtual Assessment Pathway (VAP) clinic patients to participate.
