Reiki

During reiki, the therapist gently places their hands on or over clothes and bedding to channel universal life force energy and subtly activate the body’s natural healing processes to restore balance and harmony. People generally report feelings of peace and enjoy a quiet space in their mind. Reiki works just as well when the therapist and person receiving it are not together in the same room, this is known as distance reiki.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses natural plant extracts in the form of essential oils, which each have a unique scent and effect on the mind and body. The benefits range from being uplifting to sleep inducing, they can even help with headaches, anxiety and nausea. Our qualified aromatherapists combine the essential oils creating a blend especially for you, that safely fits in with cancer treatments. The team provide these in an aromastick, which is a small nasal inhaler that fits in the pocket so you can enjoy the treatment at home. The treatment may also be given as a massage, usually on the hands, feet or back.

We can even show you how to do it on yourself or someone else, so the benefits last longer.

Our qualified sound therapist will help you explore your most effective audio tools so you can use them as distraction and lighten your thoughts.
