When are visiting times?

Visiting hours are 2 - 5pm and 6 - 8pm. We operate 'protected mealtimes' where all clinical activity on the wards is reduced to a minimum at mealtimes to allow you to enjoy your meals without being interrupted.

Children are welcome to visit but please remember to check with the Ward Sister first. We have a special room for children that are visiting. The Lions Den Family Room has been specially fitted out with furniture and fittings that are suitable for children. This gives patients and families the chance to spend time together with children away from the ward area. Please speak to your nurse for more information or to book the room for your family.

Some patients may be at risk of developing infection. Relatives and friends are asked not to visit if they have a cough, cold or sore throat. Please phone the ward if visitors have been in contact with an infectious disease such as chicken pox or measles.
