In March 2016, we held our first Open Evening at Velindre, aimed primarily at local neighbours in the Whitchurch, Llandaff and Rhiwbina areas.
About 20 residents attended. Carl James, Programme Director said, “ As you might expect, people were interested to know if the new cancer centre would alleviate some of the car parking and traffic issues we currently experience. We were able to share our hopes that our new site will be accessed via a new road through the current Whitchurch hospital site, which should help.”
