Ray of Light

Ray of Light recognises and understands the uncertainty, fear and change that comes with a cancer diagnosis. Every year in Wales over 19,000 are diagnosed with cancer but the impact of this diagnosis is felt by far more.

The team at Ray of Light provide a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space to support people affected by cancer, and through the turmoil of their loved one’s diagnosis, whilst trying to cope with daily family life. For many this support can be a lifeline.

In a nutshell, Down to Earth believe relationship-centred and meaningful outdoor experiences have the potential to change lives.

Down to Earth do this through innovative and inclusive approaches such as creating remarkable buildings with natural materials, sustainable land management and award-winning well-being and education programmes from hand-built centres on Gower and across South Wales.
