Independent Member - Quality and Safety

Vicky has been a registered nurse for over 34 years and in that time has worked at Board level in Executive Director of Nursing roles/ Chief Nurse roles for 18 years until the end of March 2021.

In addition to her Independent Member role in Velindre University NHS Trust, Vicky is currently working as an Associate lecturer at Worcester University.

On Vicky’s retirement from her Executive career, she was awarded the CNO Gold award by Ruth May (Chief Nursing officer for England) for her contribution to Quality Improvements in patient care and the image of Nursing.

Vicky lives in mid Wales, married to a Farmer with two grown up children.
