Velindre Cancer Service delivers care through a hub-and-spoke model designed to keep specialist expertise at the centre while bringing services closer to patients wherever possible.
Our main hub is Velindre Cancer Centre in Whitchurch, where complex and specialist care is based. From there, our services extend out into the community through a network of spoke sites. Some of these locations provide treatment, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, while others host outpatient clinics and consultations.
