By achieving the Silver Award, we have:

  • Signed the Armed Forces Covenant
  • Already stated our intent to be supportive by using the ERS website to register at the Bronze level
  • Proactively demonstrate that service personnel/armed forces community are not unfairly disadvantaged as part of our recruiting and selection processes
  • Actively ensure that our workforce is aware of the positive policies towards defence people issues
  • Demonstrated, within the context of Reserves, our support to the training of Reservists by providing at least 5 days’ additional unpaid/paid leave
  • Demonstrated, within the context of Reserves, support for mobilisation or have a framework to support mobilisations in place in place.
